Don’t Major In Minor Things!
When visiting forums I notice that a lot of time is wasted on majoring in minor things, instead of being concerned with what really make a difference when it comes to marketing.
For example, I wrote a topic on a traffic generating tool that’s generating all kinds of traffic for free. A forum member responded to my posting, not about the method I was using to generate traffic but, about the reason I used Bold text on some words. Yes, he’s majoring in minor things instead of what’s important.
I have noticed that some people are willing to debate with you all day and night on something that’s not important.
But, if you suggest something that is important, they don’t have much to say.
Since a lot of people major in minor things, I stand out with my views and perspectives.
So, The title of My column at The Nettle Ezine fits me:
CaptKirk - A Sideways Look At The Web Marketing Industry!
If you been majoring in minor things, I hope this article opens your eyes to focus on what’s important and to stop wasting your time.
