One Of The Easiest Ways To Promote Your Site!

One of the easiest ways to promote yourself and your websites is to join forums and introduce yourself.

The benefits to you are:

1 You will get most people attention in the forum when you introduce yourself .
2. The forum members can check out your Sig file
3. The forum members can also check out your websites
4. Most Important, you can meet new friend.
5. etc......

After you have joined the forum by all means welcome the new members who introduce themselves to the forum.

Yes, you could become a professional "Meeter and Greeter" while promoting yourself at the same time.

Now, here are some things you don't want to do, if you want to promote yourself in forums:

1. join a forum and don't make any posting.
2. Not using your sig file.
3. Not listing your website.
4. Most important, not participating in the forums.
5. etc.....

Forum let me know what you think about this topic.

What do you think? What's your good, bad, and ugly.

I like this idea, but in the area where you set your sig up, it only asks for you to type in what you want displayed, yet you guys appear to have them hyperlinked. This is stuff I need to get my head around.

Or am I totally on the wrong track?

I agree Captkirk,
Forums are at the top of my list too. There are dozons that I've found that even allow blatent advertising but like you said, it's better to get involved and use a nice signature.

Hi Brian,

It's amazing to me the amount of people who participate in forums and don't use a sig file or list a website. ::)

They are missing out on Free Advertising big time.

Now, that would be som great advertising space (Sig File) worth buying.

Capt,

I have found your advice to be the most successful means of all.

I'm not new to your forum or to your advice, and have been following it for some time now.

I can truly say to those who are new...follow what he says. It works.

Capt, you'll get a laugh from this:

On another forum someone was discussing using those long, long sales letter websites you see and someone was putting them down.

The original poster made the remark that they work.

The critic went at it again. But they're ugly, but they're long, but they ... but, but, but...

So the original guy said: what would you rather have... a way that SHOULD work but doesn't, or a way that SHOULDN'T work but DOES?

Stick with what works. The Capt is telling you what works. Stick with that.
